For our final gallery feature from Thrive Edinburgh, we’re sharing work created with Sophie Lin Berard. With a background in fashion and editorial photography, Sophie has over a decade of experience working with both digital and film. Her approach to weddings is thoughtful and considered, blending an editorial eye with calm, grounded direction.
Sophie led her groups on a walk through the beautiful streets of Edinburgh, making use of the classic buildings and textures, as well as soft directional light and quiet interactions. She wanted the photographers who joined her to learn that subtle direction can lead to your couples feeling at ease and present for their portraits.
