Hands-on on Day Two
Take that inspiration into the field — opt to work in a small group with each of them. That might be shoots and watching how they direct, compose and think through each image. It might be business development sessions.
Diverse learning
Take part in up to three different sessions with three different mentors on the second day. Plus we have a full programme of business-focused talks open to everyone.

Six of the industry’s top photographers share real, actionable insights that make a tangible difference to your business. Expect a balance of inspiration and practical advice you can implement right away. You can get to know all our speakers ahead of time in a series of Podcasts.
Day Two
Breakout Sessions and business talks
Get hands-on with up to three optional small group sessions with our mentors. These can be shoots, so you see how they work, or breakout business development sessions. We also have a full programme of short business talks, open to all ticket holders.

Let us give you the lowdown
This April, Thrive is serving up some very special city vibes in Edinburgh. Imaginex is a high-tech, visually impactful space — this one is going to feel immersive but also kinda cosy, and we want you to make yourself right at home.
But we go beyond sitting in a seat listening and offer you a little more. For people who like to implement straight away all our keynote speakers offer practical sessions on the second day.
These are often shoots but this part of Thrive is down to them. They either make use of our styling team and work with a real couple or editorial model, or in the past we’ve also had portfolio review fireside or editing sessions.
We announce what these are when we announce our lineup. They are an optional extra while we are all in that space together. So if there is a speaker you want to learn more from, you can book on.
At the same time, we have a full day’s programme of business talks that are open to all ticket holders. So there’s always something to take part in.
Work together? Come together. Couples and studios who run the business side by side can both come on one ticket. Just email Lisa to set it up.

Buying before you know who’s speaking?
We know, it’s a leap. But we’ve been doing this for over a decade, and we’ve brought you Martin Parr, John Dolan, Samm Blake, Joanna Brown, Sophie Berard, Jennifer Moher and Anni Graham, to name just a few.
We don’t book speakers for their follower count. We book people with something to say that’ll change how you run your business. Early Bird buyers hear who’s on the lineup first, so keep an eye on your inbox (and on our socials for clues).
