ROMANTIC EDITORIAL INSPIRATION

Thrive Edinburgh by Bernadeta Kupiec Photography

“Bernadeta’s photography is known for its dreamy, artistic quality, blending natural light, movement, and raw emotion.”

One of the brilliant things about Thrive is that we always leave a little space for the unexpected. This year, we were lucky enough to add an incredible bonus shoot just a couple of weeks before the conference: a studio-style editorial session led by fine art wedding photographer Bernadeta Kupiec.

Working alongside the amazing Lena Sabala and her styling team, Bernadeta created a beautiful setup that gave attendees a completely different shooting opportunity – one that felt refined, romantic, and full of heart.

Bernadeta set up a beautiful studio-style shoot that focused on real connection in a softly romantic space. Using muted pink tones, flowing fabric backdrops, and delicate florals, the shoot blended editorial styling with a natural, authentic chemistry between the couple. It was a brilliant chance for our attendees to work in a refined, editorial setup and learn how Bernadeta encourages genuine emotion in her images.

The results? Romantic, nostalgic images with a quiet beauty. You could feel the softness in the fabric, the tenderness in the way the couple held each other, and the thoughtfulness in every frame.

THE SHOOT EXPERIENCE

A Soft, Romantic Studio Feel – A Bernadeta Kupiec Photography Editorial at Thrive Edinburgh:
A Fine Art Approach

Bernadeta is known for her fine art approach, blending weddings and styled shoots seamlessly in her portfolio. Her session at Thrive was no exception. Using muted pinks, soft textures, and dreamy florals, the space was transformed into an editorial dream.

The results? Romantic, nostalgic images with a quiet beauty. You could feel the softness in the fabric, the tenderness in the way the couple held each other, and the thoughtfulness in every frame.

Bernadeta also gave a fantastic talk on the first day of Thrive about the power of self-motivated projects. She shared how personal shoots not only keep her creatively fulfilled but also play a huge role in attracting paid work that’s aligned with her passions.

Her bonus session was the perfect example of this: an environment that felt totally authentic to her brand, allowing photographers to walk away with images that were different from anything else they shot across the two days.

It was such a special addition to the Thrive experience – and a big reminder that making space for personal projects can open up unexpected opportunities.

A huge thank you to Bernadeta Kupiec and Lena Sabala for pulling together something so beautiful, in such a short time.
