That is not laziness. It is just that nobody has ever told them what a portfolio page is actually for.
Most photographers treat it as a place to put good images. It is so much more than that, including a sales tool. And when it is built with that in mind – with the right images, in the right order, with the right words alongside them – it does a job for you every single day.
