Book tickets for Day 1, as well as chosing your Day 2 shoot workshops with our incredible speakers.

DAY 1

Our first day at Thrive is about listening, watching, and learning from our six phenomenal speakers.

They are bringing you their truth and their knowledge to inspire and fire you up in both your business and your shooting.

They will be presenting talks that are all fresh and exclusive for Thrive. We end the day with a panel and of course, you can get involved.

Lunch is included as well as plenty of snacks.

DAY 1 –  BRIGHTON

THE LOWDOWN

Hosted at The Mercure on Brighton’s glorious seafront. Think chilling in the lobby and having cocktails in the bar.

Join us for the day or make it into a mini-break. We will be socialising there and staying over – you are welcome to as well.

On DAY ONE we have all of our main presentations from all six speakers.

 

DAY 2 –  BRIGHTON

On DAY TWO you can book on to Shoot Sessions with any of our speakers. These are in small groups and they are your chance to see our lead photographers shooting real couples. You can ask all the questions that you like and shoot alongside them.

You are also welcome to hang out at the venue with us. We will be there all day, as will our lovely sponsors. 

WHAT HAPPENS ON DAY TWO?

Whilst Day One at Thrive is the presentations from our wonderful speakers, Day Two is about going out and Shooting. You can book to go out in a small group with any of our six speakers.

These are 90 minutes sessions where they will all shoot real couples and you can see how they direct and work with their couples. Of course, you may also shoot.

Whether you have booked onto a Shoot Session or not, you are welcome to join us for Day Two. We will be at the venue all day. As well as hanging out with us, you can –

 

  • Join us for lunch at midday when Aga from Pic-Time will be hosting a Q+A Pic-Time Clinic. This is your chance to either see what all the fuss is about or get into any issues or queries that you have with your account.

 

  • At 2.30pm Zoe from ImagenAI will be talking us through the software and answering all your questions about this game changer that so many photographers are now incorporating into their workflow.

 

  • Sony have very kindly offered to open up a pop-up maintenance clinic. Bring ANY BRAND of camera to them for a free sensor clean. If you shoot Sony you can also get a complimentary firmware update and if you have any issue with your kit, they can have a look at it and run some diagnostics.

 

  • Mark from Wooden Banana will be bringing plenty of samples of his gorgeous new albums plus a wide variety of presentation products.

In Glasgow, we takeover the wonderful CitizenM hotel in the heart of the city. Here, the vibe is laid back and there’s always a warm welcome.

Join us just for the day or take up residence in one of their amazing rooms. We will all be staying over and hosting our socials in the bar.

Where is Thrive Brighton?

For Brighton on 21-22th March we will be based at The Mercure Hotel

It is a 20 minute walk from Brighton Station or 7 minutes in a cab.

Where is Thrive Glasgow?

For Glasgow on 24-25th March we will be based at the CitizenM Hotel
60 Renfrew St, Glasgow G2 3BW

Do I have to attend both days?

We think you would get the most out of Thrive if you do but we also understand that not everyone will be able to. So you can buy tickets just for Day One or just for Day Two. We will be at the hotel all day as will the event sponsors.

Can I come along just on Day Two?

 Yes, if you were with us on Day One, you are very welcome to return on Day Two even if you do not have any Shoots booked. We will be at the hotel all day as will the event sponsors.

When I'm not in a Shoot Session on Day Two can I still hang out?

YES, we will be there all day and you can chat to the sponsors or connect with the other attendees.

What is the schedule?

Registration is from 9-9.30am on Day One and the talks will finish by 6pm. See Full Timetable

 

How do Tickets work for Thrive?

It’s simple – we have tickets for Day One where presentations from all six Mentors will run all day. Expect to be with us from 9-6.

For Day Two you can buy tickets to the individual Shoot Sessions run by our Mentors. There are three slots over the day and each shoot will last for 90 minutes.

In between Shoot Sessions we will have business lessons that all attendees can take part in.

Are Duo Tickets available for Thrive?

Yes, just email us with your website address so we can check if you are a Duo and we will send you a code to get Duo Tickets. You must work all of the time as a Duo.. not photographer and assistant or associates within one brand.

Please note, Duo tickets are very limited as we are limited on numbers at both venues.

Do I print my tickets?

No, we will have you on our list on the day.

You can see your tickets on your account page.

Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket?

Tickets are not refundable but they are transferable.  Just let us know please and will change over the names.

Do I need my camera?

Day One is mostly seated presentations but Day Two will have more practical elements so please bring your kit.

Is there Disabled Access?

Yes all of the spaces for exhibitors and classes are fully accessible. If you are deaf please get in touch before purchasing a ticket.

What do I do about food at Thrive?

At both Brighton and Glasgow food is included. The hotels are working on providing us with some yummy nosh and we can happily cater to any allergies.

Can I buy a Day Two Shoot Session Ticket on the day?

Yes, just come and see us at The Welcome Desk but we expect some classes to sell out in advance.
