Styled Shoot Day Workshop: Walcot Hall

With our next Shoot Days fast approaching, we thought it was high time we shared with you the images from our Walcott Hall shoot day last year. The team at The Stars Inside used Hans Christian Anderson’s take on The Little Mermaid as a narrative thread to lead them through the styling decisions for this day. “We loved imagining what this fairytale character would be like as a bride, falling in love with the world above the sea.

We paid homage to the English countryside venue with a sunset colour palette and incredible floral scapes from Pheasant Botanica to create a look that felt artful and contemporary. Playful, fun, refined and a little bit wild, the outdoor wedding ceremony setup around the old English fountain was a particular show stopper, and our attendees were head over heels for the lake story finale. Led by special guest photographer Rebecca Carpenter, our attendees worked in small groups on plenty of gorgeous, opulent setups, and went away with tonnes of stunning imagery for their portfolios and social media. Take a look at these shots by Lisa to get a feel for the day below.

While tickets for our Balcombe Place Shoot Day are sold out, there are still some available for our Cambo Estate Shoot Day in Scotland. If you want to shoot in a fun and inspiring location with some friendly folk, you can pick up tickets here.
