Styled Shoot Day Workshop: Dunglass Estate

If how fast tickets sold out for our latest styled shoot day workshop are anything to go by, you are as excited to get back to shooting again as we are to hosting them! Our Scottish Farmers are already enjoying shooting elopements, so it seemed like a good time to share with you some of the images from one of our last shoot days at Dunglass Estate last year. We’re currently planning another Scottish workshop – register your interest at the form below.

With styling by the team at Gloam, we wanted to really use the beauty of the estate’s surroundings and create several stories to captivate our attendees’ imaginations. We were inspired by the Picnic At The Hanging Rock book/film – with Victorian gothic influences, the team interwove nature into the insides spaces and took furniture outside to blur the lines between inside/outside, and make it look as if nature was taking back control – a perfect metaphor for the times we now find ourselves in.

Like with all our styled shoots, we used two real life model couples, and set up full elopement stories in order to add depth to the images. We know that our attendees want plenty of pretty pictures to build their portfolios and share on their social media, they also want substance as well as style to help them stay connected to their craft through these trying times.
