OWN PRESET
I don’t know about you but I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on the year as we are coming to the end of it. One thing that I’ve really loved is the creativity going into styled shoots. Not only have these been happening more and more as workshops and collective events but also individual photographers producing their own. Where they may have been too busy with weddings to make these happen before, they are now using them to showcase both their skills and their taste. Of course, Farm has always included these in what we offer and we will continue to do so in 2021, starting with a Shoot Day in February.
I love this simple styled shoot from the brilliant Bernadeta Kupiec. It very elegantly demonstrates that sometimes all you need is a killer frock with a great model and a stunning landscape. Bernadeta kept it low key and laid back, inspired by what she picked up at our Glencoe Shoot Day.

What Katie said ...
“Dreams. Each of us has them. Some are minor, like seeing the sunrise. Another huge – a trip to Cuba. Some come true right away. You have to wait several years for other dreams to come true … This was the case with this session. Long-awaited, desired, dreamed. And although the sky was not covered with a thick layer of dark rain clouds, there was no storm wind, it was perfect. Even the sun, which shyly leaned out from time to time to catch a glimpse of what was happening down there, had its little moment down there. And here I would like to thank Nikki Leadbetter, from whom during the workshops in Glencoe, I learned how to tame the sun, how to make it my friend. Sean Bell, who taught me how to play with light, how to search for it.
