Do you make time for bride portraits in the prep? I always try to get my clients to allow a little bit of time for a more formal portrait before leaving for the ceremony. If you don't ask, they often just plan to be ready right as they have to leave and I feel like an opportunity would be missed. Just 5 or 10 minutes can help to create a gorgeous series of images and I often feel that they can help focus a bride on the day ahead and calm any nerves.

And so I was stopped in my tracks when I saw this utterly beautiful portrait by one of our Scottish Farmers Zoë Campbell. I love how she has both captured that calm in the eye of the storm feeling that taking these portraits can create and how she has also incorporated the environment. What a location and what a stunning image. I know I keep choosing images shot in Scotland but there is something so romantic about it.
