Not many ceremony photos have won Image of the Week as I guess it's maybe not the most creative time for a lot of us. Our role is usually just to record the events as best we can within the restrictions set by the venue or celebrant. Quite often we are totally restricted to staying at the back of the church and not using flash, so what can we do with that? Well I think a truly creative photographer can view any restriction as an opportunity to challenge yourself.

This is exactly the situation that Zoë Campbell found herself in at this wedding. Being forced to stay at the back of the church. She took some images that show the grandeur of the church perfectly well and capture moments in the ceremony but then she tried a reflection technique to draw in the stained glass and the chandeliers for a much more dramatic shot. Now we have an image that really expresses the drama of both the church and the ceremony. It's quite brilliant....
