Have you seen the Wes Anderson Christmas ad for H&M yet? It's only a few minutes long but just reminds me so much about why I love his cinematography. I find it incredible inspiring, the framing, composition, limited colour palette and how he displays a narrative. All techniques that we can use as photographers. On the flip side of that, I also adore photographs that make me think they could be stills from a film.

And I think that is something Manchester based wedding photographer Haydn Ridings does so well. This wedding looks so chic and they are a beautiful couple but the photos leave me wanting to know more about their story and I love when images intrigue me. The whole blog post is terrific but this is the stand out shot for me. It so easily could be a scene in a film adaptation of a DH Lawrence novel.
